William May is a Project Manager and President of Stonemark Corporation, which provides
investment Banking services to medium sized and larger companies. Personally, he
specializes in Acquisition Searches and Business Brokerage assignments nationwide. Credentials. Often referred to as the “Dean of American Business Brokers,” Mr. May, as Founder of Stonemark, has worked on the sale or purchase of hundreds of privately held middle size businesses. In addition, he has invested in, started-up or provided turn-around services for numerous organizations and brings a wealth of practical experience to companies in transition. Experience. Prior to starting Stonemark in 1979, he was Founder and President of a Northwest Marketing & Advertising Agency which grew substantially under his management. Mr. May holds Degrees from Grays Harbor College and Washington State University and has served as a Director of numerous corporations, trade associations and not-for-profit groups. He is a frequent speaker on Mergers & Acquisitions and other business subjects, and has written several books on Investment Banking subjects. Personal. With his wife of almost twenty years, who is CEO of a cable advertising company, he has one son.
