Stonemark is an
Investment Banking firm providing Business Brokerage services to medium sized and larger
clients. MayPartners is a full service Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations and Sales
organization associated with Stonemark. In addition to traditional Advertising Agency
services, the firm has specialties in the marketing of Professional Services and develops
and markets its own "Sales Force Automation" (SFA) Computer application. This
product is built on the Access/VB/SQL technology and is sold on an individualized basis
only. The roots of the agency go back to 1974 but it was recently renovated to sell
computerized design, interactivity and relational database technology. |
| Education: |
Associate or
Bachelor's in Computer Science or other beneficial subject. Will consider students for
part time position. Internships or Apprenticeships possible for beginners. |
| Experience: |
Position is for
entry to experienced level designers. Requires good understand of HTML, FrontPage and
Graphics. Prefer knowledge of Sound, Video, Ecommerce technology, Active Server Pages,
Access, Visual Basics and SQL server. Should be proficient with other Microsoft
applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. |
| Knowledge: |
Should possess
good fundamental understanding of all facets of Web Design. Will be working on both new
and existing web sites. Helpful if able to design Microsoft Access front ends. |
| Personality: |
Should have a
decidedly academic manner, enjoy detail and be very organized. Must be able to work quick,
clean and complete -- no loose ends. Should be able to communicate well with others,
particularly management. Must meet budgets and deadlines |
| Duties: |
Work with
principals to design and administer sophisticated "Sales Force Automation"
Application. Will design and upgrade existing forms, reports, Queries and Modules. Will
work in Access, Visual Basic, SQL and HTML. Application is already well developed so work
is focused on continuing innovations and improvements. Substantial focus is converting
functionality to Web Front end. Some time spent on support calls from users and may be
involved at remote location installations. Also includes administering database inputs and
integrity, running reports and maintaining a healthy database. Some travel possible. Because we are a small firm, DB Programmer will also assist
with set-up, trouble shoot, and maintenance of small Windows NT networks and some web
work. This may include purchasing and installing components, network cards, administering
network resources, installing software, managing tape backups, administering remote
communications |
| Skills: |
Must be able to
manage a busy load of major and minor computer and database duties with few mistakes.
Should be able to work with others well. |

| DETAILS:
Many positions are
paid a combination of salary and incentive pay. Compensations shown
are full time annual. Part time would be prorata. Project Manager
positions are usually compensated on a commission basis only, but the
commission is substantial. Paid Apprentice program possible for all
jobs. Interns are paid expenses only and should be enrolled in under
or upper graduate college programs. No job will be filled unless a highly
capable candidate is located. Not all jobs are available at all

| INTERNING
& APPRENTICING:
Stonemark's Internship program is for Under grad or graduate college
students. It is an 8 to 13 week unpaid program that provides valuable
hands on experience and credentials. Successful attendees may have the
option of moving into Stonemark's paid Apprentice program that lasts
