Computer Administrator: Windows NT/ MS-Access / Web
Employer: Stonemark Corporation Supervisor: President
Location: Seattle Office Term: Part or Full-time
Compensation: $10-$18/hour DOE Revised: 5/31/98
 Employer: Stonemark provides Merger & Acquisition consulting and intermediary services to medium sized and larger Northwest companies. Also invests for its own account.
Education: Associate or Bachelor's in Computer Science or other beneficial subject. Will consider students for part time position.
Experience: This is a junior position. Formal training in Computers, networks and programming or two year’s experience. The person will be responsible for installing and maintaining the Employer’s small Windows NT network and for administering and doing some programming on client/server SQL database using Microsoft Access or Visual Basic front end. Will also utilize front end tools to author Web pages and manage Web Sites. May provide assistance on similar systems to Employer’s subsidiaries and client firms.
Knowledge: Must possess good fundamental understanding in all facets of computers, including Windows NT Server/Workstation, Windows95, HTML, FrontPage, Image Composer, Photoshop, PageMaker, FreeHand, software and hardware troubleshooting, technical support skills and Internet proficiency. Proficiency in Access Database Programming a big plus. Also, should have good understanding of current Windows programs such as word processing, spread sheets etc.
Personality: Should have an out-going and assertive nature, but must also have the ability to placate the emotional needs of others.  Must also be a detail-oriented person and well-organized.   Must be constant self-starter and self-educator.
Duties: For Employer’s computers and others - handle set-up, troubleshoot, and maintenance of 5-station Windows NT network. This includes purchasing and installing components, network cards, administering network resources, installing software, managing tape backups, administering remote communications, handling print jobs. The job also includes administering a client/server Access database, writing MS-Access code for forms, reports and transactions. Administers database inputs and integrity, running reports and maintaining a healthy computer system. Authors Web Pages and manages Web site.
Skills: Must be able to manage a busy load of major and minor computer and database duties with few mistakes. Should be able to work with others well.
INTRO: Stonemark is a growing Investment Banking firm specializing in the purchase and sale of medium to larger sized, usually privately held companies.  Ours is an extremely competitive but highly lucrative industry.  The work is hard, the hours are long, the satisfaction is immense.
DETAILS: Many positions are paid a combination of salary and incentive pay.  Compensations shown are full time annual. Part time would be prorata. Project Manager positions are usually compensated on a commission basis only, but the commission is substantial.  Paid Apprentice program possible for all jobs.  Interns are paid expenses only and should be enrolled in under or upper graduate college programs. No job will be filled unless a highly capable candidate is located.  Not all jobs are available at all times.  Hiring decisions based on a wide range of factors, primary of which are intelligence, commitment and loyalty.  Equal opportunity employer.
