| Education: |
Bachelor's in
Business or other beneficial subject. Masters in Business and/or CPA preferred. |
| Experience: |
Any business or
accounting experience which shows strong financial and writing skills. |
| Knowledge: |
Must possess
good understanding of all business facets but especially have solid grasp of accounting,
finance and tax issues which affect business sales. Should be a whiz at spreadsheets, word
processing and graphics -- preferably in Windows95 or NT. Must be willing to work with and
learn sophisticated database program. |
| Personality: |
Should have a
decidedly academic manner and enjoy complex information and deep study. Must be able to
work quick, clean and complete -- no loose ends. Should be able to communicate accurately
with Project Managers and Clients alike. Hours are long and learning required. |
| Duties: |
Reviews client
assignment opportunities with Project Managers and Stonemark management; conducts client
and third party interviews and general research gathering; utilizes on-line and library
databases to research client companies and their markets; designs, proofs, fills and
completes business analysis spread sheets such as business recaps, recasts, proformas,
purchase tests, and ratios, statistics and graphing; reviews, examines and develops
opinions as to business feasibility, growth and value; authors and produces word processed
business analysis documents such as profiles, abstracts, business briefs, case studies,
business plans, and dossiers; compiles and manages the copying and printing of all
finished business documentation for client companies; manages the archival of all client
files and templates; researches, recommends, produces and executes project marketing
campaigns; review and evaluate respondent proposals and plans; perform due-diligence, fact
finding and compliance reviews. If apprenticing, would work for an experienced
Analyst/Appraiser and learn those skills necessary to become a full-fledged
Analyst/Appraiser. |
| Skills: |
Must be able to
coordinate large amounts of information, render and argue supportable opinions, design
creative solutions to complex conflicts, and act as financial expert to Clients and
Project Managers alike. Should be able to work without a great deal of supervision and
instruction; to solve problems without help. |
| Apprenticeship: |
Applicant
having prior Business Brokerage and Valuation experienced can be considered for salaried
plus commission positions. Others having general business, accounting or analysis
experience may consider progressing Stonemark well defined Internship and
Apprenticeship program. |

| INTRO:
Stonemark is a
growing Investment Banking firm specializing in the purchase and sale of
medium to larger sized, usually privately held companies. Ours is an
extremely competitive but highly lucrative industry. The work is
hard, the hours are long, the satisfaction is immense. |
| DETAILS:
Many positions are
paid a combination of salary and incentive pay. Compensations shown
are full time annual. Part time would be prorata. Project Manager
positions are usually compensated on a commission basis only, but the
commission is substantial. Paid Apprentice program possible for all
jobs. Interns are paid expenses only and should be enrolled in under
or upper graduate college programs. No job will be filled unless a highly
capable candidate is located. Not all jobs are available at all
times. Hiring decisions based on a wide range of factors, primary of

| INTERNING
& APPRENTICING:
Stonemark's Internship program is for Under grad or graduate college
students. It is an 8 to 13 week unpaid program that provides valuable
hands on experience and credentials. Successful attendees may have the
option of moving into Stonemark's paid Apprentice program that lasts
