History:
Prior to starting Corporate Growth Services, Mr. Larson was, from 1981 to 1986, Chairman
and Chief Executive Officer of Custom American Furniture, Newtown,
Connecticut, a case goods manufacturer.
Corporate Growth
Services was established in 1986 to provide professional merger and acquisition
intermediary services on a national and international basis for clients seeking to sell,
buy or arrange financing for midsize businesses. Stallworth M. Larson is the
founder and President.
From 1969 to 1981 Mr. Larson
was at the Chase Manhattan Bank, New York City, New York, where he was a
Vice President. In 1980-1981 he worked in the Project Finance Division
of the Merchant Banking Group where he advised and assisted major
multinational corporations and domestic and foreign government entities in structuring,
negotiating, and arranging financing for multi-sponsored international and domestic
projects.
He was active from 1969 to
1980 in Chase International Investment Corporation, a development
finance/venture capital subsidiary of the Chase Manhattan Bank, engaged in direct overseas
investment of debt and equity funds.
Mr. Larson has an MBA
in Finance from Columbia University, and is a 1963
graduate of Yale University.
From 1963 to 1967 he served
in the United States Navy where he was a Lieutenant.
Mr. Larson is also a Life
Member of the United States Naval Institute and a Life Member of the Navy League of the
United States. He was the 1997 recipient of the United Hospital Fund's Distinguished
Trustee Award.
